MuTech is a technology company dedicated to understanding and reducing wind turbine noise. Our mission is to make wind turbines quieter, helping the wind industry generate more clean energy with less impact on nearby communities.
Originating from more than a decade of aeroacoustic research at TU Delft, our team combines advanced measurement, engineering, and product development to bring the latest research to the field through practical solutions with direct impact.

What we do
We make wind turbines quieter
We have developed MuteSkin®, a new class of noise-reduction technology for wind turbine blades, and MuTech Acoustic Insights™, advanced measurement and analysis services that help turbine manufacturers and operators understand and address noise.
We work with specialist partners in testing, materials, manufacturing, and certification to bring solutions from scientific principle to field application. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and our product-development approach incorporates APQP4Wind methods.
How we work
Measurement and development belong together
Better noise-reduction technology starts with a clear understanding of the noise itself. What we learn from measurements in the field informs the solutions we develop, and every solution is assessed on in-field acoustic performance.
We develop and maintain our core aeroacoustic, measurement, engineering, and product-development capabilities in-house, while working with specialist partners where their expertise is needed. This keeps our work focused on practical results and helps us move efficiently from research to field implementation.
